Well, they finally accepted the info you gave me, but now they did a Mobile City directory for 1861 - 1866 - 1867 - 1870 and 1871

Now they just have to figure out why he was dropped from the rolls in May 1864.

My question is - Does that have anythinng to do with if he is eligabile for a headstone or not - Will that keep him from getting a headstone?

I thought once you proved he was in the Civil War, an got A COPY OF HIS RECORDS, that was all that was all that was needed.
