My ancestors name is Marion W. Shelton--I know he was a Private enlisted Aug 1, 1862 at Clinton Ar. He was captured Apr 26, 1863 at Cape Girardeau, MO and sent to MP St Louis, Mo Apr 30, 1863 then to City Point, VA May 19, 1863. He was exchanged June 2, 1863. From there I loose track of him or what he did prior to his capture. Would appreciate any help.
