Thanks for the compliment Frank.

But you know you always see so much more that should be done. It disapoints me that our culture is what it is today in Arkansas. Where our knowledge of our own history is so lacking. A State where the story of such history as Fort Pleasant and the heroism of Mrs Deckers' Great Grandfather Colonel J. C. Pleasant is lost to all the people in this state except maybe 100 people at the most in the entire State.

We study and we study that War and think we know so much and are so smart in our study. And then after 140 years you find a place like Fort Pleasant which is almost completely unmentioned in Arkansas History. A place where unlike Fort Hindman at Arkansas Post was never assualted and never reduced because it was considered too strong. Where that although "Nothing went on there" it changed the course of the war just that little bit enough to direct the events which ended with the Battle of Little Rock in September 1863 developing as they did.

Anyway, Thanks again for all your help.
