William M Stout was born prior to Oct 8, 1928 in TN. In 1854 he married Priscilla Smith, daughter of James Middleton and Susan Walden Smith. He died April 7, 1914 in Randolph Co. AR and is buried in the Roach Cemetery in Randolph Co. He moved to Randolph Co. between 1857 and 1858 from Kentucky, based on the census showing where his children were born. Don't know if he ever lived in Chandler, OK. However, I do know of several ancestors, and Randolph Co. residents (Jones) who moved to Chandler, OK. Do know that all of William's children were born in Randolph Co. between 1858 and 1874. Another family genealogist writes that he was honorably discharged from the 15th MO Inf CSA in July of 1863 but I'm not sure of their source. Another family member and neighbor Elba Bellah is listed as serving in Co. G of the 15th. Thanks for taking the time to research. I have sent off for information from the National Archive. If the researchers for History-Sites.com do as good of a job on William Stout as they have done on previous searches, I'm sure I'll have better information in a few weeks.
