It's encouraging to learn that at least one community made the right decision on this issue. In recent years there has been an attempt to marginalize anything or anyone connected to the Confederacy. As a result many historical monuments and commemorative plaques have been removed. Doubtless other sites in the State of Arkansas have been involved in this modern-day battle.
