The service record of the William Hood in the 3rd Texas Cavalry (South Kansas-Texas) Regiment is a small file. There is also an R. L. Hood in the same company, which usually denotes a relative. This is a much longer record. If you'd like these two (2) records, you can substitute them for your earlier ordered William Hood in the 10th Arkansas Infantry.
