Having some limited experience in pushing the envelope, I do not recall seeing that happen on this board....not on recent threads. I have read a great many of Doyle's posts and I do not believe he has been rude or meant to imply that all Union soldiers in Arkansas commited atrocities or had the inclination to do so. Both Doyle and Bryan have a lot of valuable knowledge to share about Arkansas history. None of my ancestors were Unionists, but reading these message boards has helped me acknowledge pro-Secessenists also did horrible things during the War---just not as much. Let's put down our swords.
