It looks like a stalemate for now. I want to thank everyone for their research. The last real record is the 1860 census. Thomas William Graves born1822. Married Margaret Jane Brown Nov.22 1849. Fought in Washington Arkansas Volunteer Cavalry Company I on June15, 1846. Fought at Vera Cruz. Discharged June 20 1847 at Camaro Mexico. children Susan Graves 1849, Alfred Rice Graves born1851,William Chester Grraves born 1853, Mary Graves Born1855, Sallie Graves born 1860. I have a lot on the children,who were adopted in St. Louis after Thomas ' death. Is there a way to look up his military record in the Mexican War? Scott Greenawalt
