I believe that Jesse C Capshaw is my 4th Great Grandfather. The records I have show that he was born in South Carolina in 1812 which would make him 49 at the start of the War. I know that some men enlisted at an older age. I found a few records that show the following information: CAPSHAW. J.C. PVT - Enl 3 Mar 1862 at Caney, AR. KIA at Corinth, MS 4 Oct 1862. Is there any way to tell if this J.C. Capshaw is my Jesse C. Capshaw? His wife's name was Eliza and they had a daughter, Mary F Capshaw, who married my 3rd Great Grandfather, John B Huckaby (24th Arkansas Infantry). Thanks! Allen
