Thanks George. There are apparently two or three B.W. Taylors whose records are mixed. One was a surgeon or asst surgeon in VA. Regarding Capt & AQM Brownlee W. Taylor, I found that he was "removed from roll" in April 1864 but, as you point out, it appears he serves out the war until paroled at Shreveport.
