As you know, Moore's Brigade lost some (at least one) Hardee flag on Lookout Mountain and with the folding of his brigade into Baker's, some of whose regiments probably had the Mobile Depot flags already, made for the order (yet found) that the new regiments of the brigade also get Mobile Depot flags.

I wish we could find some documentation for when these flags were indeed issued and, if they came blank or with battle honors already one them. Some of the flags made by the Belknaps and Cameron did have these honors as they were listed on the invoice. Other invoices make no mention of flags coming with honors and they may have been added later. Brown's TN Brigade got blank Augusta Depot flags but hired an artist in Rome, GA to paint the battle honors on them, so there is some precedent for this.
