John P. Andrews was mustered into Confederate service as third lieutenant of Co. K, 7th Arkansas Infantry, on July 26, 1861. Neither Holloway nor Yarnell ever served in the 7th Arkansas. I can't find any record of Confederate service for William L. Holloway. William A. Yarnell subsequently enlisted as a private in Capt. William Hicks' cavalry company on February 22, 1862. This company became Co. A, Matlock's Cavalry Battalion, on June 16, 1862. It was later dismounted and became Co. A, 32nd Arkansas Infantry, on August 6, 1862.
