I have seen a few references in correspondence which refer to the Arkansas Troops as "Arkansawyers", But I also thought that I had heard of an 1800's legislative resolution which officially addressed the Question of what the people of Arkansas were to be called.

I like you prefer Arkansawyer. There is no "saw" in "Arkansan". I was looking to see if someone might have the citation of the resolution.
