Colonel Milton D. Baber

I have basic information on a Colonel Milton D. Baber whom General Shelby was hunting on June 13, 1864. He tells McCray that he is to order Baber to report to him. I am assuming it is the same Baber as I know Milton D. Baber was recruiting in the area of Lawrence county at the time Shelby took command of the district. What do we know of this man besides commanding the 45th Arkansas, captured at Mine Creek or Independence on the 24th or 22nd October 1864 . Did he leave any personal accounts or records. He was a prominent attorney in Lawrence Co. before and after the war. Further information would be helpful.
