Still searching for Col. Burleson's Regiment

In an earlier post I requested information on a Colonel Burleson who had received orders from General Hindman on June 1, 1862 to take command of troops under Captain Ponder at 'Camp Cache' somewhere between the White and Mississippi River's. On June 11th another order was issued assigning Capt. J. D. Pritchard as Quarter Master to Burleson's Regiment and in Paragraph II assigned Lieut. L. C. Gause as the Adjutant. The responses and private research revealed only a Lt. Col. Burleson of the 12th Texas infantry as the only one we could find, except that the two staff officers do not appear on the 12th's roster, or if they do I missed it. Also of Pritchard and Gause I could find nothing. In Special Order 175 found in the Trans Mississippi Order Book, dated Oct 28, 1863 from Shreveport to Marmaduke, it mentions Lt. Col. Burleson command as being authorized to give farmers and others 'tithes' receipts. Not sure if that is the 12th Texas. However, in this case I don't believe the 12th Texas ever served under Marmaduke. So, I now turn back to the Arkansas boards many wise researchers who perhaps can help me resolve this curiosity.
