I think Moffets station may have been located north of Caulksville Arkansas, another 5 miles or so west of the battle site. Alfred (Albert) Moffet owned land there at a site called Point Lookout Prairie. Paris did not exist until 1876 and only a few scattered homes were located there. There was a community in Spelierville (near Subiaco) that might have been Moffet's since they had a large family. There is a tendancy to name battles with more than one title Ie. Bullrun, Manassas so we may have that situation here.
