I think Haguewood Prairie battle is sometimes confused with Moffets because that was the next station even though battle was miles away. I have had some luck with Haguewood and found a couple 6 pound balls plus pistol shot. I have a friend that believes he knows the location where Shelby stayed after leaving Ozark. It is near Turner Bend and has some civil war grafette written on the rock. I also received some information that Moffets was located 1.5 mile NE of Short Mountain creek which would place it right where we are searching at Haguewood. James Little was executed as a bushwhaker after his capture at Haguewood.
