The new Christian Camp is in Sardis, Arkansas. The address is actually 27100 South Sardis Road, Bauxite, Arkansas. I go to church with his granddaughter, Melva Wallace who is probably in her mid 80's now. She lives directly across the street from the camp. I am not sure if she has a phone. Melva and her late brother Dayle Ball donated 110 acres that was purchased back in 1894 by Corin Read. It was their family farm.

Melva and Dayle wrote a letter to our Church asking that we name the camp after Corin Read who was a community Doctor in the Sardis community.

We have purchased background information from ancestry.com and gotten some data about him. We (Northside church of Christ) would love to have more information about him so we can post around the camp. We know where his homeplace was located and have been shown 3 wells we may excavate to see what come up.
