Actually Nuna is not on the Tull side but over more west/sw of Sardis community. It would have been right on the Saline/Grant Co line just NW of Ico a small community on Hwy 67 headed toward Sheridan.

I don't have anything in a format of a report at this time that would be specifically about Corin Read, but am just familiar with him as a CS soldier and physician. I can't remember where my info on him being a teacher or giving the land for the school or what but I think if you would contact STeve Perdue at the Benton branch of the Saline Co. Library, he has some info on Nuna and that area since his relatives were there too. I may get in touch with you on talking to his grandaughter to see if she has any stories passed down regarding his Civil War service. My ancestor was in his same unit and was wounded at Corinth, captured and died of his wounds.
