I am reposting from an email that Alan Thompson sent me. He has been digging in CSRs and other palces trying help me figure out the composition of Shelbys forces, and secifically McCray's Brigade during the Action at Ashley's Station.

This is a mess. Lol. I've been looking at service records and Little Rock prison records all morning trying to find clued of guys in the 40s regiments fighting there and haven't found anything other than that guy captured the 7th and found two from the 45th captured on the 6th in the same area.
