I have 3 of these and have seen 3 more sell and know where 2 more are locally. Two of mine are in the Confederate range #'s 35 and 142 as well is yours, serial numbers under 200 which is on the frame were sent to Virginia prior to the war, three well known authorities have told me the same serial number range story under 200 is the key. I also understand that the John Brown guns never made it to him? Understanding the attrition rate of guns from that period that survived being about 10% people have estimated that probably somewhere less than 100 of them are left??? I have a Union contract Mass. Arms frame for sale if anyone is interested serial number 832. I also have a large number of secondary Confederate handguns for sale as well. Cell 727-515-1935.

Thanks Todd.
