I'm looking for a proper description of an 1851 rifle that has S. BLASIEN stamped on the lock plate. It has the appearance of an 1861 Springfield except for the rear sight - 3 barrel bands with springs, bayonet, sling, rifled barrel, percussion cap. I've got barrel and trigger guard assembly markings if that will help.
