Re: red SC flag in Iowa

Hello,

A couple things:

>>>Greg, this is where my integrity kicks in. I cannot in good conscience request the report from Mr. Hudson with the intentions of sending it to you, when I know that - reasonable or not - he will not do so himself. I feel so strongly about this that even though it would be in my best financial interest to see if he has looked through the files at the National Archives before I do so, I'm not going to ask him.>>>>

The CHC report was online with the article in the Charleston newspaper. It was uplinked as a PDF file so it went out to anyone who cared to click on that link.

According to the report, Mr. Hudson's SC study was an appendix and that was not with what was uplinked. He told me to get ahold of the guy that wrote the report (Tex somebody) and I have no way of doing so to get a copy.

If you have access to the entire report (with a couple other appendices supposedly) then you can get Hudson's part from that. I seriously doubt he even knows about the Citizens & Business files at the NA and I would bet the house he never heard of Bee & Silcox or Charles West & Son either (nor have the CHC people). If he asked me on this very board for stuff that I had on Vincent then he knew nothing of that file at NA. But those files only have invoices and nothing to describe the flags and they often do no state where the flags were going (although some do). Such large flags were replaced every 3-4 months due to wearing out so a place could have had a Vincent flag one time and then a West flag another - depending on who could fill the need at the time.

I honestly believe that Hudson has nothing of new value and that is why he will not send me his report - because he knows I will chew him up. Nicely of course!

>>>In 2009 I have had one family tragedy after another so my efforts have been and in the near future will continue to be internally concentrated, but I'm going to pick up the flag research as soon as I can see over a couple of alligators. I will share anything I find with you. >>>>

Sorry to hear about this and I hope it gets much better soon.
