I knew that they would not have had "Nashville" on the battle honors at Nashville, but what I am hearing is that there were no battle honors on the 51st's flag unitl they were veternized in January of 1865. Therefore, the 51st's national flag at Nashville just had the unit ID. Is that what you believe as well.
