Thanks so much for the photos.....but I now have doubts as to the color of the flag depicted. I do not think that the white out would be so exteme as to bleed out the entire blue field. Obvioulsy light would penetrate the unpainted field a whole lot more than the painted part, so I would expect the eagle, ribbon, fringe, to be darker, and it appears that the sun is behind the photographer. But this appears to be a differwent flag....look how far the ribbon extends beyond the wingtip. It obvoioulsy was used as an HQ flag, but the photo was taken 9 years before LBH and was in the southern plains. Thanks again.
