Three out of five medals awarded for this battle were given to "capture of flag" however I could find no evidence as to what flag exactly. That's off the top of my search I will look into it. The other two medals were given, one to a enlisted man that captured a artillery piece and turned it on the confederates and to an officer that led a charge to captured another piece.
