... The flag in this photo is the "Tornado" mystery flag. The museum card has it labeled as being 16.6 x 24, however spoke with two of the curators that hauled it down from storage for us to look at it, both claimed the flag was larger than it stated. I was told by them it actually measured 16.6 x 27. Even in this photo its laying on the lobby floor due to its size. We did the same thing, but due to time constraints and the film director was more interested in the Alabama flags, we didnt unroll it all the way, just enough of the hoist edge to show me the writing on the hoist border and at least see part of the canton.
