.. Thanks, have looked at it for decades, but had never previously been a research focus. Most curators Ive asked, either didnt know exactly, didnt have specifics, or each gave different answers. First took note of it back in the 70's when most of the flags here in Va were still in the possession of the Battle Abby... before they were transfered over to MOC... All those that Ive personally examined that MOC has, has the simular zig-zag style. They of course might have others that I havent noted yet..
