Agreed. I've spoken with Greg Biggs about this very issue and he told me that there were NO second nationals at Gettysburg. The closest representation was a white "streamer" or tail that had been added to a North Carolina unit's battleflag. This would have been the only thing close to a second national. I'm sure Greg will see this post and submit his expert response. But I do remember our lengthy telephone conversation. We were discussing flags in films, especially "Gettysburg" and "Gods and Generals".
