Well, good luck with your work. This is a unit history that I'll be looking forward to reading. I did a little research on the 11th quite a few years ago, but that consisted of little more than going through their descriptive roll in the Missouri State Archives. If I remember correctly, they were mostly Illinois boys but I don't remember for sure.
