Dale, Hi...Is Ward's Gang the same as Ward's Raiders? My half-brothers are WARDs on their maternal side and their ancestors were definitely a part of this group of anti-Confederacy Unionists. My brother also told me they were a part of the group that attacked Troy, in Lafayette Co., and destroyed the courthouse, etc., there. (I know...they were rough customers!!!)
