Stationed at Bronson, Florida, December 20, 1861.
December 20.— Company muster-in roll of Captain Cobb's
Company, in the First Cavalry Regiment of Florida Volunteers,
commanded by Colonel Davis, called into the service of the Con-
federate States in the Provisional Army under the Act of Congress
passed February —, 1861 by the Confederate authorities from
December 20, 1861 (date of this muster) for the term of twelve
months, unless sooner discharged.

I certify, on honor, that I have carefully examined the men
whose names are borne on this roll, their horses and equipments,
and have accepted them into the service of the Confederate States
for the term of twelve months from December 20, 1861.

Stationed at Camp Trapier, December 20, 1861-February 28,
1862.

Stationed near Cumberland Gap, April 30-November 11, 1862.
August 11.— Left Knoxville August 11, 1862.
September 1.— Arrived at Lexington, Kentucky September 1.
From thence marched to various places in that state.
October 10.— We commenced the march from Kentucky October
10.
October 25.— Reached Blain's Cross-Roads eight miles via rail-
road October 25, crossing the mountains at Cumberland Gap.
November 4.— We returned to this place November 4.

Stationed at Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, February 9-March 11,
1863.

Stationed near Loudon, Tennessee, March 11-April 30, 1863.

Stationed near Chattanooga, Tennessee, July 9-November 1,
1863.
September 19-20.— This company was in action with the regi-
ment at Chickamauga September 19 and 20, 1863.
