Thank you very much for your help. I have extensively researched George Paul Harrison, Jr. but cannot find one source to verify his promotion to brigadier-general, including the Official Records. As a matter of fact, I have found conflicting information regarding the "year" of his supposed promotion. Going through the Official Records is very time consuming, so I thought maybe I missed it. In the Official Records he was still signing himself and was addressed as "Colonel, Commanding Brigade" as late as 4/19/1865. Regarding the roster of field, staff and band, did you see the actual roster yourself or is your information coming from a book/on-line source?
