Thank You very much for responding. As I said, my husband and I have your book, "More Generals In Gray" and we find it an informative research tool. I do respect your findings and agree that I have never come across a promotion in the Official Records or elsewhere. While reseraching Mr. Harrison, I was perplexed by the many accounts in various biogrpahies claiming his promotion to brigadier-general. Your book seemed to be the only one that confirmed what I was thinking. Thank You Again -
