Would anyone have any information as to what would have happened to the bodies of my G-G grandfather and his eldest son (Alexander E. Bacon and Horatio E. Bacon) They died on May 1, 1862 and April 1, 1862 respectively in or near Cold Harbor, VA. Nobody in the family knows where they were buried. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
