Alan..thanks again for the info. Where did the remenants of the unit come from that escorted President Davis from Richmond until his capture in Georgia? There are some reference to the Confederate treasury that ultimated dispeared in and around Washington, Ga. on near the border of the Ga/S.C. Line.
