There's no Joseph Hill listed. A man named Joseph Hill lived in Fulton County in 1870, age 23, but no adult by that name in Heard County in 1870 or 1880. A man named Joseph G. Hill from Carroll County served in Co. "G", 41st Georgia Regiment.

Looks as if we don't really know who we're looking for. Without better information, we won't be able to identify him.
