Thanks for the book title and author's name. I am unable to find the book available for purchase after a Google search. I did find the book available only for in house research at my local library. I have a vision handicap which requires me to use a "reader" to magnify print to about the 10th power. This reader is in my home but is too large to be portable Hence going to the library for research is difficult.

Do you have any source that offers A Fine Bunch of Athletic Solders, a History of the 11th Calvary or can you give me an idea of how much data, if any, is available on musters, areas of service, etc. If the book contains information that John Latty obtained from official records, I will do my best to make the trip to the library.
