I have my GGrandfather's Cook & Brother's rifle, but I cannot find any information about his unit. He served in the 11th Georgia Cavalry. I do not know if the unit was State Guard or regular Army. Can you direct me to any useful source where I can find info about this unit? He was in Company K of Youngs Battalion. Thank you.
