You've done it again, George. I have no doubt that it is Brig Gen Marcus J. Wright, Atlanta Post Cdr, and have found an autographed image on the 'Net to compare. Little question that the "Marcus J..." is a match. I think the problem was that the scrawled middle and ending is apparently "Marcus J. Wright Brig Gen," followed by the printed word "Commanding" on the form, and I was trying to read the "Brig Gen" as his surname. (No "tail" on the '"g" and the "G" looks like an "S." His signature is almost as hard to read as President Kennedy's! Guess that with Sherman moving closer he was in a hurry.)
