I am seeking information on the Roster of Company K, 19th Georgia or on Pvt. James Bice (Byce) who was from Bartow(Cass) county and may have been attached to this unit.
James Bice was born in 1845 so would have been 16 or 17 when the unit formed.
His older brother Lafayette Bice-my Great Great Grandfather- was assigned to the Camp of Instruction Talledega and was also at the Ettowa Iron Works. That is all the information I have on him. \ The 1840 Census does show this family living in Bartow/Cass County, district 12.
Any additional info on either men would be greatly appreciated.
