Mr. Walker-James and William would have been 16 and 18 years old respectively in 1861. The last information I had on them was an 1850 Census for Bartow County which listed both boys living with parents James and Mary, along with older brother Lafayette who was my great-great grandfather. I do not know why they would have been in Carrol County unless living with relatives there.
It is very possible that the James Bice listed as a member of 19th Georgia Inf Company K is in fact the boys father, James. The Senior James Bice would have been 54 years old in 1863.
