I would appreciate any information anyone can give me on my husband's 2nd GGF. His name was Samuel Henry Fisher (aka S.H. Fisher). We have been searching for his parents and/or any siblings he may have had for over 5 years. He served in the Confederate Army - Broyles 36th Infantry, Co G & E, GA - GSI #62658. We know that he was captured and released. His TN pension was denied. He was born on 05 Jun 1833 in Tennessee and died 25 May 1923 while living at the Tennessee Confederate Soldiers Home. I have a copy of his death certificate, but it does not list parents. Any help we can get to locate his parents name (and break through this brick wall) would be greatly appreciated.
