Thanks George, it would make sense that he was originally buried near the hospital in York at this particular time period. I'm sure other Confederates died of wounds or sickness due to the Gettysburg Campaign at York, PA after the post dedication of the Gettysburg National Cemetery by Lincoln in November 1863.

The Baltimore Sun listed his name as J. W. Wyley of Company H 11th Georgia Regiment, close enough for me to find his real spelling or at least I believe to be his true spelling.

If William J. Wiley is still buried at York, PA then he more than likely has an unmarked grave in my opinion. A lot more research will be needed to find some possible answers. As always George thanks for taking time to reply.
