Alberry Bruton served as 1st Lieutenant of Co "E", 43rd Georgia Regiment; never promoted to Captain. Several wartime documents exist under his signature. Captain M M Grantham accepted Bruton's resignation as 1st Lieutenant on March 4, 1865. At this time Bruton had served a three-year term and age 47. Being over age 45, by law he was no longer required to serve.

To answer your question, images of Confederate soldiers that can be identified by name are rare. Also, very, very few images of Confederate companies were ever made, nearly all in early 1861. These are more common of Federal units but still not plentiful. If a wartime image of Lieutenant Bruton was made and still exists, it's probably in the possession of a descendant.
