63rd GA Infantry, Co. E - Celathiel Helms

My GGGrandfather, Celathiel Helms, was in Co. E of the 63rd GA Infantry. He came to Dalton from Savannah to join the Army of Tennessee in late April, 1864. His widow's (Mary Evalina) application for pension states that he died of measles in Macon, GA on August 15, 1864. I believe he came to Macon on a train. Apparently his body was not returned to his home in Marion County, GA. His burial place is unknown. I have been to Austin, TX to research Stout papers from Macon, but due to the vastness of the information and limited time, I was unable to find any record of him. I have also searched cemetery records in Macon to no avail. I have a letter from one of Celathiel's fellow soldiers which says that Celathiel entered a hospital on July 27 (this was before he came to Macon). What hospital might that have been? I would appreciate any research options or any information about the 63rd GA Infantry. Thanks..
