Having read and researched various sources concerning Indian activity associated with the Battle of Prairie Grove, I too was somewhat puzzled after reading Wilfred Knights fine book. I am hoping someone out there has an answer to your very good questions. By the way, does anyone know where I might purchase a copy of Wilfred Knights book?
