Great information, thanks! As you say, at that time Captain Quantrill and his guerilla regiment was reported by Federal authorities/officials as "being everywhere". I am not sure what has generated the sudden new interest in Qauntrill, but of late I have received requests/inqueries from people all over the country. I have also noticed that when "Ride With The Devil" is shown on TV, the interests in Quantrill seem to peak. As far as Col. Stand Watie being at Wilson's Creek/Oak Hills I haven't found any documentation to support this.
