Re: Jobe Fisher, John Henry Damron,
1) Jobe Fisher since he is mentioned on four pages of my book, and I could not find him in archival records
From family notes I found:

Jobe recieved his Texas land patent (3rd Headright) of 320 acres on 17 Feb 1845

2 Mar 1851 m. Lucinda Warren from Kentucky. She died during childbirth in the winter 1854/55 (Jasper Fisher)

Jobe and Lucinda were probably neighbors as they show up close together in the 1850 census.

Jobe married Minerva Coffey in 1856

Jobe joined the Texas State Troops, Capt. Whittenberg's Infantry Co. 27th brigade, in Oct 1861

2 Apr 1863, Jobe enlisted with the Minute Men, 21st brigade then was mustered into the Confederate Army and placed under command of Colonel James Bourland.

Jobe's brother in law, Paterson Dameron (m. Tina Fisher) also served in the same company.

Jobe served from 30 Jan to Oct 1864 in Frontier Organization First District Troops, Capt James Hill Co. Enlistment date Cooke Co. 2 Apr 1863.

Hope this helps
