As usual, have to correct things. Hatley was not confused about oak Hills(Wilson Creek) I was, and I was there last summer. Lookins at the 2nd Arkansas Regiment Roster, at Wilson Creek, I saw That Capt E. R. Hawkin's Company was mustered in on Aug 3, 1861, and assigned to the 2nd. The were assigned to Whitfield's Battalion in November as Company A. This has to be checked out.
